AORE Seeks 2020 Volunteer Leadership
Are you looking for a way to become more involved in AORE? We are currently seeking members that would like to serve the association as a committee chair/co-chair for 2020-2022!
AORE Committees work toward providing the AORE membership with a variety of important opportunities and information relevant to the field of outdoor recreation and education. Committees have responsibilities (such as annual and standing projects) that aim to move the association toward its goals. AORE committees are chaired by AORE volunteers and administered by AORE staff.
Commitment to become a chair/co-chair on a committee includes:
- 3 year commitment (first year as co-chair, second year as chair, third year as past chair)
- Bimonthly committee chair calls with the National Office (every other month for 45 minutes)
- Quarterly all committee chair call (4 per year for 1 hour)
- At a minimum quarterly committee calls with your committee
- Timely responses to committee related correspondence

- Access & Permitting
- Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
- Professional Development
- Recognition
