AORE's Board of Directors consists of an executive team, regular board members, and three specialized internal committees (each chaired by a current board member) that advise the Board Chair on matters relating to Financial Advisory, Governance, and Development. The Board follows a strategic model where volunteer leadership sets AORE's high-level priorities and the Executive Director and national office staff then determine the best tactics for achieving those priorities. Our Board of Directors is elected by AORE's membership. They are practitioners, academics, and supporters who represent a range of skills, perspectives, and backgrounds that have been identified as critical for achieving our association's goals. We are thankful for all that these dedicated individuals have done and continue to do to advance a strong vision for AORE and enrich the outdoor industry as a whole.
