What are you most excited about with the proposed mission statement?
I am excited that our new mission statement is simpler and even more inclusive than before. The message is easy for existing members to share with others and it is welcoming for perspective members to hear and understand.
 
Relative to the greater outdoor space, how will the strategic framework positively help our identify and branding?
The strategic framework is both simple and bold. It is bold because it shows that AORE can support ALL individuals who are wanting to be leaders in the outdoor industry. From someone who is looking to enter the industry as a new leader to someone who wants to take their next steps into higher levels of leadership in the industry to someone who is a seasoned veteran and wanting to find mentorship opportunities, our AORE strategic framework gives you a glimpse into the advantages that could be unique for you and your needs.
 
As a member, how do you think this will help guide AORE's work?
Our work with La Piana has helped AORE clarify and organize its work, programs, and services. This is helpful for members, and it is also incredibly supportive for the board and the staff. For example:
