Student Opportunity: Become a National Park Trust College Ambassador

The National Part Trust Is Looking For 2021-2022 College Ambassadors
Share this opportunity with your students.Are you connected to students who love parks and the outdoors? Do they have a knack for getting others excited about being outside? Would they be interested in getting some professional development? Do they like getting paid? If so, they should APPLY NOW for the National Park Trust College Ambassador Program.
The National Park Trust is looking for two pairs of college ambassadors to lead initiatives on their college campuses that increase outdoor recreation participation and stewardship among the campus community while also increasing access and awareness of parks and outdoor places. Ambassadors will build a strong connection between their campus communities, outdoor recreation and parks through organizing outdoor outings and social media outreach.
Check out these school and ambassador resources:
- A $1,000 stipend for each ambassador AND $2,500 for each college/university to support ambassador outings throughout the academic year.
- Each school will receive a fishing gear bank for 15 people (pole and tackle box) to be used for the ambassador associated fishing outing. The school will keep the fishing gear for future school-related outdoor activities.
- Each ambassador will receive a National Park Trust Ambassador t-shirt, a backpack and water bottle from Hydro Flask, National Park Trust swag, and more.
- Each ambassador pair will receive swag and materials for tabling events and outreach.
